Sister from Around the Way was originally published in the Piranha Press anthology Fast Forward. Set in a fictional inner-city housing project, it is a fast paced, gritty and furious look at the ever blurring line between fiction and reality.

Writer John Figueroa and Artist Kirk Albert later went on to create a two volume collection of graphic short stories that take place in the same complex titled THE PROJECT (published by Paradox Press).
